Who we are

At Rose & Olive, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of the visitors to our website and the clients we work with. We want you to know that we would never sell or trade email lists or other personal data – and we don’t like spam – not even in sandwiches! In this Privacy Policy we’ve provided information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure. Types of Data we collect

Website Cookies

Like most websites, Rose & Olive use cookies to collect information. What happens if I disable cookies?

Google Analytics

When someone visits www.roseandolive.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Mailing Lists

As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us – tea@roseandolive.co.uk.

Other Parties

Some of the bookings at Rose & Olive are presented in partnership with other companies such as with vintage hair and make-up artists and others. We will let them know about your booking and share your name and contact details with them where necessary, in order to facilitate your booking. We will not share sensitive information or your payment details.

Contact Details

To facilitate bookings with us we do take contact information including names, contact phone numbers, email addresses and venue addresses. These details are stored securely and are never shared with other parties, unless it is in relation to a booking as detailed above.

Payment Details

Our invoices are managed through Xero with credit/debit card payments taken via PayPal. These credit/debit card details are not stored by Rose & Olive. Information on PayPal’s Privacy Policy can be found here . and Xero’s here.

Access to your personal information

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to us – tea@roseandolive.co.uk

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our business, our website or services, or applicable laws. The revised Privacy Policy will be effective as of the published effective date.

If the revised version includes a substantial change, we will provide you with 30 days prior notice by posting notice of the change on our website. We also may notify Users of the change using email.
