The Hen House photo shoot

After my little sneaky peak behind the scenes post yesterday, here is the full Hen house shoot. I want to thank everyone involved, especially Lee Allen for taking these excellent photos and Emily-Jayne for making the models look even more stunning! You all worked so hard despite the cramped conditions and rather chilly temperatures. But everyone got cake and bacon butties so no complaints were heard on the day. 

I hope you like the photos as they will be decorating the website walls until we do another shoot - oh yes we're already plotting the next one and I shall be looking for volunteers. Keep an eye out on Twitter for #henstock.

But for now here are the pictures that I have been teasing you with for weeks. 

Emma bought some cakes up from Bristol to keep us going, while my husband made the others. The green one in the middle was actually decorated with butter that he'd dyed green as we had run out of icing sugar. Funnily enough, it was the only cake that didn't get eaten. 

Those tea cups were trembling, but it wasn't photoshoot nerves! My advice to anyone wanting to do a photoshoot outdoors in skimpy dresses between October and April - do it indoors!

Emma is just defining 'fierce' here 

I should have given Gemma massive Eighties hair to go with the dress but the atmosphere in my living room was already 50% hairspray - any more and the place was liable to blow!

I really do love the Sixties dress that Laura wore - It was still in the shop last week... If you live near Worcester, please someone, give it a good home (and send me the photos!)

I do hope you like these, we had a blast on the day and I can't wait for the next one......... *cough* #henstock *cough*
