Now those of you who follow me on Twitter or read my old wedding blog will probably have heard about the Hen House shoot but for those of you who havent - I arranged a small photoshoot to create some new eye candy for the website. I wanted some new images so pulled together a photo shoot in about a week (I don't suggest you do this). I managed to get Lee Allen to come and take some pictures and Emily-Jayne to do the make-up so we all looked beautiful. I also rounded up some lovely wedding bloggers to star in the shoot, we had
Emma - The Wedding Reporter (@Cloggins)
Gemma - Mission 2 Wed (@miision2wed)
Laura - Purple and Pearls (@purpleandpearls)
We all gathered at my small flat one Saturday morning and got busy making some prettiness. We were very graciously loaned some frocks by a local vintage shop Second Hand Rose, we spent far too long browsing (show a girl a vintage clothes rack....) but we came back with arm fulls of very lovely dresses.
Now I did the hair which wasn't the best but I tried my bestest but I have no idea what I was doing with Emma's hair here

Gemma was on nail varnish duty (now can I point out that that Joey dvd belongs to my husband, it has NOTHING to do with me)

And my first attempt at a beehive......

You can take the girl out of the 21st century but you can't take the 21st century out of the girl

Emily-Jayne doing her thing

'if you touch my eyes I may try and hit you'

Oh yeah and if you leave a camera unattended my husband will steal it

Tune in tomorrow for the full shoot
Love
Abbie xx
